The newly opened Royal National Rose Society Gardens was the setting for the Centenary Garden Party celebrations held by St Albans District Chamber of Commerce.

Over 90 guests enjoyed Champagne, Pimms and canapés listening to a brass band and a stringed quartet who all form part of The St Albans Symphony Orchestra. During the afternoon, a cheque for £11,500 was presented to David of The Willow Foundation which was the proceeds of the St George’s Day Lunch held in April.

The Party was sponsored by Barclays Business Banking, and supported by The Royal National Rose Society, Kingfisher Caterers, 1st St Albans Scout Group and Cheeky Munkey.
