New Chamber President - Mr Peter Goodman

After 3 years of dedicated service Graham Lane handed over the Presidency to Mr Peter Goodman last night at our Annual General Meeting. During his last annual report as President Graham said "I "have met so many nice people in the business community as President and the role has helped me grow as an individual both in confidence and in knowledge". He thanked General Manager Lisa Bates for such excellent support and also Mel Hilbrown at STANTA for providing a free home for the Chamber of Commerce.  He also thanked the members for their continued support and the Chamber Directors for their hard work, contiributing so much to St Albans making it "Such a great place to do business".

Peter Goodman is a partner at SA Law in St Albans, he has been involved with the Chamber for over 30 years and said "I am really excitied about being the new Chamber President and was inspired to do so by Sandra Oldfield, a previous Chamber President and share both Graham and Sandra's passion and love of the business community. I will ensure the Chamber continues to do well over the coming years"  Peter stressed the importance to members of using each others services during such difficult economic times.
