Since 1907, the St Albans District Chamber of Commerce has been supporting local businesses in St Albans and the surrounding areas of Harpenden, London Colney, Redbourn, Sandridge and Wheathampstead.
We believe working together helps companies of all types and sizes achieve more than they could alone. Our events provide a forum to network and make new connections with the potential to build long-lasting relationships. Take a look at our events calendar and come along and meet our members. We welcome non-members who can attend up to two events to get to know us before joining.
Our aim is to support your business to achieve its goals through training and development workshops, business advice and mentoring.
We offer members the opportunity to showcase their skills and expertise through running our workshops. If you are interested in hosting an event for us, please get in touch.
The Chamber is a voice for your business. We regularly engage with our members and the wider business community to find out the issues affecting them both at a district and industry-specific level ensuring your views are heard when decisions are being made in local government.

When creating the Chamber branding it was clear the design should have a local reference to reflect our roots in the district. St Albans’ status as a city is owed to the Cathedral and it is from the West Window of the Cathedral that we drew inspiration with an element of the bar tracery forming the basis of our logo. The resulting distinctive design could represent people around a table and the idea of coming together, of engaging in conversation and of a circular group representing equality of views and contribution. Being based on a window, the design suggests transparency in our actions and the ability to see through an issue.
