Businesswomen Connect: The Power of Growth

Growing businesses, careers and confidence.
Sponsored by Savage Collective
Businesswomen Connect returns this September, bringing together women from across the St Albans District business community for an afternoon of honest conversation, meaningful connections, shared learning and a traditional afternoon tea at Harpenden Golf Club.
Created following the success of our sell-out International Women’s Day event, Businesswomen Connect offers a different kind of experience. Through discussion-led events and diverse panel perspectives, we explore the topics that matter most to women in business today in a welcoming, supportive and inclusive environment.
This year’s theme, The Power of Growth, explores what growth really looks like.
Growth isn’t always linear. It can mean scaling a business, stepping into leadership, building confidence, adapting to change or redefining what success means at different stages of life and career. Behind every milestone are lessons learned, challenges overcome and opportunities embraced.
Join us for an engaging afternoon as we hear from four inspiring local women expertly facilitated by communication and speaking expert Susan Heaton-Wright.
Facilitated by International Speaker Susan Heaton-Wright
We’re delighted to welcome Susan Heaton-Wright as our panel facilitator.
A multi-award-winning communication, impact and speaking expert, Susan has worked with global organisations including AstraZeneca, Microsoft, Shell, Deloitte and GSK, helping leaders communicate with confidence, credibility and impact. As an international professional speaker, former prize winning opera singer and Best TEDx Speaker 2026, Susan will guide the discussion, encouraging honest conversation and drawing out practical insights from each panellist.
