Sandra Oldfield, President of the St Albans District Chamber of Commerce, said: "What makes our Chamber so successful? Is it the networking events, our Ball, or our St George's Day Lunch? No, its you, the members who have given us so much support over the years and it has taken us 100 years to arrange this night where we salute you, the businesses of St Albans.  I only hope it does not take us another 100 years to come up with another good idea.  To each and every company and individual who has been nominated for an award I wish you luck but as far as I am concerned you are already winners."
