At the St Albans Chamber of Commerce, our mission has always been to create meaningful opportunities for local businesses to connect, collaborate and grow. Through our events and networking initiatives, we’re proud to see members building strong relationships that lead to real business opportunities.
A recent example of this is local photographer Stephanie Belton. Since becoming a member a couple of years ago, Stephanie has embraced Chamber life, attending events, meeting fellow members and building valuable local connections. Those relationships recently led to her working with us to capture fresh, professional headshots of our office team and Board of Directors for use across our communications, website and at our Chamber AGM.
Stephanie said: “Being part of the St Albans Chamber has been a wonderful experience. From the very beginning, the team made me feel welcome and it’s been a fantastic way to meet and build relationships with other local businesses. I was delighted to have the opportunity to photograph the Chamber’s team and directors – it’s always special to work with organisations that are so passionate about supporting the local business community.”
As a Chamber, we’re always delighted to see members collaborating and supporting one another. Chamber Director Emily Waddell commented:
“It’s fantastic to see the connections made at our events turning into real opportunities for our members. We also work with Stephanie for our business photography at Taylor Walton and have been extremely impressed with the quality of her work and professionalism. Supporting fellow members is at the heart of what the Chamber is all about.”
Stories like this perfectly demonstrate the power of local networking, where a simple introduction at an event can lead to lasting professional relationships and new business opportunities.
